Welcome to Gola Restaurant in Mykonos Island
The restaurant was opened in spring 2007, on a breezy, natural "balcony" overlooking Chora of Mykonos. What is the mission of Gola Restaurant Mykonons? To satisfy the taste, as well as the other four senses: sight, smell, hearing and touch. The brightness of a whitewashed Mykonian house; the blue of the Aegean sea; the smell of thyme and rock under the sun; the laughter of friends around a table; the explosion of a sune dried tomato in the mouth. In other words, simplicity and truth, as well as good taste, and Mediterranean tamperament, lounge atmosphere, and belief that small things are what life is all about.
What about the space? Gola Restaurant Mykonos has been fully designed, from the furniture down to tha last decorative detail, by the Milanese Caruzzo & Rancati, with the aim to combine in harmony the modern geometrical lines with the simple landscape of the Cyclades, which offers an amazing view over the island of Delos!
Simplicity means quality. Gola Mykonos Restaurant recipes are predominantly genuine and executed with expertise, aiming to bring out the freshness and delicacy of the ingredients. Products such as cheesees and cold cuts are carfully selected during winter from small producers in Italy and are shipped to Greece exclusively for Gola. Fish-roe comes from Cabras, in Sardegna, while mozzarella di bufala is made in Caserta and arrives in Mykonos twice a week. Naturally, a restaurant in greece could not but include in its menu fresh fish from the Aegean, tasty Mykonian rocket and Kalamata olives.
