Location: On the north coast, right after Panormos.
Description: Perhaps the most beautiful beach on the island, remaining fairly untouched by the tourism industry and free from beach bars, lounge chairs etc. Agios Sostis beach in Mykonos island, is 250 meters long; access to the beach is not easy, since you have to drive down a rugged road (and then back up again to return). This doesn’t intimidate nature and peace and quiet lovers, who opt for this beach without a second thought, when it’s not windy; Agios Sostis is very popular with nudists too.
Tip: Take the essentials like water, coffee, sun umbrellas, or anything else you might need. Don’t miss out on a great lunch at KIKA, the small tavern over the beach; the food is marvelous, if you can get a table, you should arrive there before 18:00. |
