Bonis Mill
A branch of the Mykonos Folklore Museum, Boni’s mill is situated by the Upper Windmills on the island. The windmill still maintains its original interior and exterior form. Inside you will see where the workers used to weigh the sacks of flour, the storage room and the grinding machine. Each year, on the second Sunday of September the harvest celebration takes places here and crowds gather to step on the grapes at the old wine press and celebrate the custom. |
